Semi Wordless Wednesday: My Great Grandparents

These are my Great Grandparents on their 50th Wedding Anniversary in Puerto Rico, July 1983.  With all the dating talk going on, I've started thinking a lot.  Wonder if I'll ever have a 50th Anniversary.

  3. Thank you Amanda and Hurricane! That's awesome that you're Great Grandparents are still kicking and loving each other, Amanda. And HurricaneG from what I've heard of your grandparents, I hope we can all be so lucky to find a love like that. That's the thing with old school people, they know what love is. They took their time. Men courted the women and women let them; they were ladies. Now men & women are taking each other to court and acting like animals. It's just not the same. Oh to live in such an innocent time where holding hands was serious deal.

  4. Thats because people back then worked hard for everything, including love. People think that because it isnt easy that they should just run. Cowards... However there are those that beat a dead horse and should know when to put the stick down. Depends....
